Frequently asked questions
Are my ID photos sent anywhere?
No. Cropping and PDF creation happen entirely in your browser, on your own device. Your ID is never sent over the internet and is never stored.
Which cards does it work with?
Any card in the standard ID-1 size (85.6 × 54 mm): national ID cards, driver’s licenses, residence permits and bank cards.
Why actual size?
Organizations usually expect ID copies at actual size. When you print a PDF made with “Actual size”, set the print scale to “100%” or “Actual size”; “Fit to page” enlarges the card.
Why add a note to the copy?
Copies of ID cards can be misused. Writing something like “For X Bank application only” across the copy makes it harder to use for anything else.
